    9th/10th Grade Geometry – Theorem?
Hi, I’m a 9th grader in 10th grade Geometry. My book doesn’t contain two theorems that I need the definition of:

    Perpendicular Bisector Theorem
    Perpendicular Bisector Converse Theorem

    Can you help me out?

    10th grade geometry question?
okay so there is a problem in my review book that states “planes A and B are both perpendicular to line m what is the relationship between planes A and B?”
    My options are
1A third plane is formed that is perpendicular to both planes A and B
2 A third plane is formed that is parallel to both planes A and B
3 Plane A is perpendicular to plane B
4 Plane A is parallel to plane B

My math teacher said the answer is 4 but i don’t understand why can you please give me an explanation

think about it like two trees in relation to the ground. if the two trees are planes a and b, they would both be perpendicular to the ground. now if you look at just the two trees (again, they stand for planes a and b) they are both standing straight up right next to each other. they are parallel to each other. Hope this helps!

    :)

    A) Perpendicular Bisector Theorem – if a point is on the perpendicular bisector of a segment, then it is equidistant from the endpoints of the segment.

Example: If line CP is the perpendicular bisector of line segment AB, then CA = CB.

    B) Converse of the Perpendicular Bisector Theorem – if a point is equidistant from the endpoints of a segment, then it is on the perpendicular bisector of the segment.

Example: If DA = DB, then point D lies on the perpendicular bisector of line segment AB.

Does anyone know where I could find the test answers for a geometry test?
Im in 10th grade. Its a mostly 9th/10th grade class. Our book is the University of Chicago Geometry book and my teacher uses form b of the test that the book makes.

  7. Dylan says:

no it means you are advensed student on mathmatics and dude realx i am also in geometry and i am a 8th grader too

  8. Jeff says:

B-Mill, there is no way for anyone to supply you the answers since most people do not go to your school. However, you can study and get a friend to help you. I know that geometry is indeed hard, but as long as you get an A, you should do well.

Is learning Geometry in 8th grade weird? is that normal?

  10. Caroline says:

Geometry is generally 10th grade math, but many people take it earlier or later.
